Before using APEA I had failed the AANP exam twice. On my third attempt, the first with ANCC and the first using APEA- I PASSED! I was so nervous I felt like I'd studied everything and nothing had worked or would work for me. BUT IT DID- I PASSED! I'm so grateful for the silly mnemonics, I felt so confident about cardio- Thank you Peyton Manning! Haha. I am excited for this next step in my career and so grateful to the APEA team.

This is actually a review of multiple products. I began using the audio-only NP certification review course a year before graduation due to all of the travel I was doing with clinicals and work and I can’t tell you how much it helped solidify the information during school and clinical. I completed the video and live in-person reviews in the months prior to the AANP exam as well as some predictor exams and felt that these not only prepared me more than adequately to be confident for the test, which I passed on the first attempt. I have started my new role as an NP in a rural family practice setting and I utilize my Clinical Practice Guidelines book on almost every patient I see, making me feel very confident that I am providing safe, evidence-based care, something that is a little bit intimidating when you’re making the role transition into the driver’s seat of your patients’ healthcare! Thank you for all of these great tools that lended so much to my practice and success!

My NP program purchased the review for my class and it was instrumental in passing my FNP boards, AANP, on the first try! Mrs. Hollier is very animated and has such a passion for teaching. She makes refining key concepts easy. Would highly recommend this program!!!

I attended the live review course offered in Nashville this past May. It was wonderful! Dr. Hollier and Dr. Secor were both very engaging and kept everyone intrigued while providing an excellent overview of what to expect on the board exam. Their presentation and materials helped me narrow down my studying for the exam. They helped me feel at ease and less overwhelmed going into my exam. I graduated in June and passed the ANCC FNP board exam in July and I highly recommend that anyone preparing for the board exams to take the live review course! I attended one of the online live review courses through UAB Adult/Gero Primary NP program. I took AANP boards 8-26 and passed! I really attribute a lot of my success to this course. It really brought everything together and the things I have struggled to remember in my 8 years of nursing education I could FINALLY remember with the help of your pneumonics. I thought the questions were very similar to the ones on the actual exam and helped prepare me to test.

I participated in the July 2022 webinar review and successfully passed the ANCC certification exam two weeks later. This course was definitely the staple that I needed. I was nervous but felt prepared. The review course is well taught. The professors are skilled and knowledgeable in preparing students like me with high test anxiety level and palpitation, to be successful. The classes/sessions were taught on a level for me to grasp and retained the information, which I was able to regurgitate on test day. The exam predictor is so accurate-right on point to say the least. The predictor exam was instrumental in identifying my sub clinical areas, trust me there were many. I did poorly on the predictor exam. However, I embraced my low scores and used the guide to my advantage. The predictor exam was my last minute tool that guided me the last two weeks prior to test day. APEA…I couldn’t have done it without you. You guys are untouchable. Best, Anonymous, 2022
