Sandra Petersen is the director of the PMHNP and DNP programs at the University of Texas at Tyler. She is board certified as a nurse practitioner in family, geriatric, and psychiatric-mental health. Dr. Petersen has been an NP since 1993 and currently has a private house calls practice in the Dallas, TX, area. Through this practice, she provides healthcare to older adults in assisted living, independent and memory care settings.
