PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Sleep disorders affect many people. This session will better prepare the learner by helping them identify healthy and normal sleep architecture across the lifespan along with the chemical neurotransmitters involved in sleep stagings. Session will review symptoms and neurotransmitters involved with insomnia, obstructive sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome, shift work sleep disorder and night terrors. Lastly, you will leave this session with a better understanding of medication interventions for all insomnia and sleep diagnoses.

FACULTY
This course is taught by Nancy Nadolski, MSN, M.Ed, FNP-C. Nancy has spent 20 years in private NP practice with excellent teachers and mentors and co-authored a book for the mental health practitioner called 40 Cases: Understanding Psychiatric Medications. As a result of ongoing research with psychiatric medications and insomnia she is an avid speaker at primary care, psychiatric and counseling conferences. Nancy Nadolski has disclosed no relevant financial relationships.
