PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This lecture, recorded during a 2022 Review Course & Clinical Update, educates NPs about the diagnosis and treatment of dermatologic conditions commonly seen in primary care. Content reflects evidence-based guidelines and focuses on the most important steps in patient diagnosis and management.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of this activity, the learner will be able to:
- Describe the etiology and prevalence of common dermatologic presentations in primary care: rashes, scabies, lupus, skin cancer and dermatitis.
- Discuss the typical symptoms and assessment findings associated with common rashes, scabies, lupus, skin cancer and dermatitis.
- Identify the appropriate pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic management approaches to patients with rashes, scabies, lupus, skin cancer or dermatitis.
