Building Blocks of Growth Guide to Growth & Development
The Building Blocks of Growth: A Color-Coded Guide to Birth Through Age 21 is a toolkit that helps NP students and practicing NPs learn and retain key information about pediatric growth and development. The Building Blocks of Growth are available as two products: flash cards and a flipchart. These can be purchased individually or bundled as a pair (the Building Blocks Bundle).
Flipchart Format
The Building Blocks of Growth Guide to Growth & Development (8.5 X 11 inches) is a flipchart that provides a succinct overview of the information contained on the Building Blocks Flash Cards. The Guide to Growth & Development serves as a handy point of reference when a nurse practitioner enters an exam room to perform a pediatric assessment. Refer to the flipchart to review the milestones that should be assessed during that patient visit.
The 10 pages in the Guide to Growth & Development are spiral bound for ease of use, and they are printed on heavy cardstock for durability.
