Alicia Gappa

Alicia Gappa, MSN, AGPCNP-BC, FNP-BC, is an adult-gerontologic primary care and family nurse practitioner who teaches the APEA Live Review Course & Clinical Update for FNPs and AGPCNPs. She has practiced as a primary care NP since 2014, managing large patient panels with health conditions of varying complexity at Norton Shores Primary Care in Muskegon, Mich. In this setting, she has developed new care standards for hypertension and chronic pain management with controlled substances, initiated new workflow processes, and overseen the implementation of new EHR documentation methods.

Denise Ramponi
DNP, FNP-C, ENP-BC, FAANP, FAEN

Denise Ramponi is an emergency medicine nurse practitioner who is a professor in the DNP program at Robert Morris University. She teaches skills and procedures workshops for APEA. In addition to her university responsibilities, Dr. Ramponi practices in several urgent care clinics in western Pennsylvania. She is a frequent presenter at national nurse practitioner conferences and serves as the Radiology column editor for the Advanced Emergency Nursing Journal. She is a Fellow in the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Academy of Emergency Nursing.

Live Course Onsite Cancellation Policy

All cancellation requests must be made via an email sent to questions@apea.com. APEA will provide a one-time transfer to a different course at no charge. Cancellations received more than 6 weeks before the course start date will incur a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations received within 6 weeks of the course start date will incur a $200 cancellation fee. No refunds are provided to registrants who do not show up for a course. In the highly unlikely event that an APEA course is canceled, APEA will issue a full refund. APEA is not responsible for any travel, lodging, or other expenses associated with a course cancellation.
